BloomingKids Releases iPad Apps for Teaching Autistic and Learning Disabled Kids

Blooming Kids Software, which makes teaching programs for autistic, learning disabled, and young mainstream children, has begun rebuilding its programs into Apps that run on the Apple iPad.

“Mobile devices like the iPad are portable and can work anywhere—on a plane, in a car, in a play room, just about anywhere the child feels comfortable using it. An App running on an iPad can be used anywhere, anytime. The child does not need to sit down at a desk in front of a computer.

“Our customers have been asking for it,” said the CEO. “iPads are everywhere. They don’t need a mouse, and sometimes they become the child’s favorite toy and the teacher’s favorite tool. Our apps can go wherever the child goes.

“The iPad is almost unbreakable when you keep it in a protective case, which almost everyone does,” said the CEO. “That is worth thinking about when you have a device that a child will be carrying around.

“We started with our ‘understanding currency’ apps,” the CEO went on. “These apps are available now at the online Apple Store. As we make more apps, those will be available at the Apple Store too.

“We have been selling our software since 2005,” said the BloomingKids founder. “Many children have benefitted from our programs, and we are pleased that we can now get the software to the children through this additional medium.”
