1. How do I install the Demo programs?

For Windows: Go to www.BloomingKids.com. Under Product Demos, Select Windows, then select a program and click. You will get a dialog box. Click Run. The program will be downloaded temporarily. Click run again. Follow the instruction to install the Demo program.

For Mac: Go to www.BloomingKids.com. Under Product Demos, Select Mac and select a program and click. The program file will be downloaded with the file name <Program Name>.dmg (Ex. Alphabet.dmg). Click on the <Program Name>.dmg file. It will unzip the file and will show the icon in a jewel box. Click on the icon and follow the directions to install the program. After the completion of the installation, press <Ctrl> and click on the Volume icon that has the named <Program Name> Demo (Ex. Alphabet Demo). Select eject from the menu.

2. Should I uninstall the Demos before I install the Programs?

Yes, you must uninstall the demo programs before installing the programs. It is imperative to do this in both PC and Mac systems.

3.How do I uninstall the demo program?

For Windows: Go to <Start>, then select <All Programs>. On the <All Programs> list, select BloomingKids. From BloomingKids, select the demo you want to uninstall, and then click on Uninstall <Program Name>. The program will ask you to click <Yes> or <No>. Click <yes> to uninstall the program. After you remove the program, a message will show the confirmation.

For Mac: Click on Macintosh HD icon, and then go to BloomingKids folder. Select the program which you need to uninstall, and drag it to the <Trash>. Then, from the desktop screen, select the icon of the program that you already removed from the hard disk and then drag it to the Trash.

4. How do I install BloomingKids programs?

Online (Windows): From www.Bloomingkids.com, select the menu <Online Installation>, and then click on the <Install> menu. A dialog box will appear. In the dialog box, click <Run>. Another dialog box will appear. Click <Run> on the new dialog box. When you get to “BloomingKids Online Installer”, type your Transaction code in the space and then press the “Authenticate” button. Select a program from the drop-down menu that will appear, and click the “Install” button. Now the program will be installed automatically when you follow the directions. From the drop down box repeat the installation for each of the programs you bought.

From CD (Window): Insert the BloomingKids installation CD into your PC and follow the directions that appear on the screen.

For Mac: Insert the BloomingKids installation CD into your Apple Computer. Click on the desktop CD icon labeled BloomingKids. A file with <Program Name>.dmg (Ex. Alphabet.dmg) will be displayed in the CD folder. Click the program.dmg file. It will unzip the file and will show the icon in a jewel box. Click on the icon and follow the directions to install the program. After the completion of the installation, press <Ctrl> and click on the CD icon named BloomingKids. Select eject from the menu to eject the CD.

5. I have Version 1.0 program. Now I would like to install the 1.10 version. Should I uninstall the version 1.0?

Yes, you must uninstall the earlier version program before installing the new program. It is imperative to do this in both PC and Mac systems.

6. I am getting a lot of “Script errors” with a program that I purchased from you that I installed on my daughter’s windows account. What should I do?

After speaking with the customer, he replied with the following instructions to help other customers:
”I was able to fix it by manually granting “write” authority (on my daughter’s windows account) within the BloomingKids folder inside the Program
Files folder. (Since members of the “Users” group, by default, lack “write/modify” authority)”

7. If I want to offer a suggestion with a BloomingKids program, how should I inform you?

You can send any suggestion to support@bloomingkids.com. We appreciate your inputs. If we are able to use your suggestion to improve our program, we will send you the newer version for free.

8. Why do you have Mac versions of your software in CD but do not offer online installation of Mac versions?

We are working at the online installation. It will be posted as soon as we complete it.

9. My Calendar program crashes as soon as I launch it. What can I do?

In the control panel set the “Regional Language Options” to English (United States). If you set any other language than English (United States), the program will crash. Presently we are looking fix this problem for other regional verities of English languages.
